Meh

Oh yes, there's quite a bit missing - I went back and deleted anything with my name on it. I got too soft and left too many openings and gave out too much information. A terrible mistake, that. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. Expect further updates, if any, to be more impersonal and objective than the previous, if you read those at all.

Michael vs Cassandra

"So boring!" - "Payback!"

Soul Calibur II:

Tournament play: Everyone plays once on each team, with each loser replaced by the next in line from their team.

Templar decides to put himself first on team 1 and last on team 2. Proceeds to KO everyone (on team 2) with his team 1 char, then KO himself off with his team 2 char, then KO everyone off again with his team 2 char, stays knocked-down in final round while girl-character opponent fails for half a minute to hit him, and is KOed by final opponent's super-combo-move at half health before he has a chance to make a comeback.

...

The night has a tendency to make things more messed up. (Perhaps demonstrated by Templar calling me Gecko and later Aiyre... not sure if intentional.) Thus, get some sleep.
All of you.

Why are you even reading this blog?

Well then...

In other news, the Bozley apparently has permissions to post to the blog. My posts need to be more witty... yes I'll have to work on that. (By the time I've perfected witiness, ShadowTemplar will be dead from disbelief.)

Sizzling Gerbils

I hope everyone's doing SWELL...
*looks around the room*
well... nevermind that...

I had a million things and major projects to prepare for today, and didn't due any work until 30 minutes before school this morning. It somehow all worked out... very well. Is there something wrong here?

The materials lab has a ~$15k software (MasterCam) that requires a component physically installed into the computer. Unfortunately this computer is not networked and is a Pentium II... So the software is basically useless for anything complex... like my project! ~>(

Oh well... I'll just get an Open Source or freeware thing that will create the G-code... for free! Muhahah... I just hope the software I find can accomodate for the size of the drill bit. Need to finish this by next Thursday...

So earlier today I just discussed StarTrek physics in an RPG forum. That was rather interesting. Back to the topic.

Wait... Sizzling Gerbils, wtf?

Currently listening to weird song: Yoko Kanno - Stray Dog Strut (Wolf's Rain OST)
"We are the Doggie-Doggie-Dogs! [repeat]"
(I can't believe I'm listening to this, believe me it can't get much weirder.)

AIM wouldn't log me in today due to a 'database error', for which I was redirected to a page that doesn't exist. I have 'AOL System Msg' on my block list, but it never prevents it from sending me that annoying message! Grr!

Urgh, my Geosystems teacher still doesn't believe that gravity on an equipotential surface does not necessarily have to be everywhere the same magnitude...

A hastily-written unsupported opinion:
Seems that Bush's new space program will cut the lifetime for the Hubble Telescope from 5 more years to 3. Though the HST will cost $600 mil to repair, we shouldn't just throw it away to build the Int'l Space Station and try to go to Mars. That's just inefficient, and we may need the HST later for unforseen reasons. Besides, $600 mil can fund a lot of programs... that's like $6 out of the pockets of every American. Space is important, but NASA should get smart and find a way to get stuff into space at a much cheaper cost than blasting it off with rockets.

Speaking of the Bush administration policies... isn't it rather cruel to still have suspects from 9-11 who haven't been allowed to see anyone or their lawyers since they were detained a few years ago? Many may be innocent. Obviously it would be hell if they had their full rights and got to see a lawyer... but no rights is pretty crapy.

Terrible joke:
I love cats... (boiled).
They're great... (with catsup).

I love cats though, they're quite adorable. Only downside to owning one is they walk around like they own your house and you're there for their amusement and to provide for them.

I think I may go off to play Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. Not the best game, not the worst either. I wonder if I'll have the strength to do all of next week's homework before I go to bed... That would scare me silly if I did.

Sincerely y'all's...

Indubitably

I don't think I've ever met this Caroline from Potomac, so word up to you (if that's the proper expression...).

How many blogs are there online? Millions I think (5-20 million I bet)...
This is just one random blog out of millions...
Just one ordinary blog.

Gee, we need something to spice things up... like a forum.

Insert weird quote:
"And there's a drowned gnat in my glass of Evian - dammit!
Fortunately not the glass with the slice of lime. Total doom has been evaded."

Year of the...

This blogging location is adequate. The advertisements refreshing in their little IFRAME are... tolerable? The ads have been rather kind thus far at not shoving less-intelligent things in my face... like 'mp3 adaptors', or 'penis enlargement'. õ.Ô

Phew, this thing has HTML! Shizbang! ^_^
Time to begin my first blog post ever...

Lounge takes its name from the BNET chatroom we like to use for Warcraft/Starcraft... in the good 'ole days. (ugh, I keep on thinking of World of Warcraft beta...)

Lots of work for tomorrow, better finish up... It's the end of the semester. 4-day weekends never hurt.

deviantArt seems to be an interesting option for me should I wish to sell prints of my artwork. Printing price seems pretty cheap too, minus subscription. Favorite art/artist thus far is enayla.

Now, I shall try to enthrall you with dynamic trivia about myself, as is common among the blogging community:

random quote: "Gerbils to be used as nuclear reactor neutron-absorbing fluid?"
recents song (recent first):
  • .hack//SIGN extra soundtracks - Fake Wings (make decisions ver.) | ethereal/lyrical/techno/trance
  • Red Heat - Retrospective | upbeat instrumental
  • Jade - Real Emotion (Final Fantasy X2) | pop
List of complaints:
  • Oh, isn't this great? The Preview button for this blog site doesn't work on Safari... Argh.
  • And what do you know, the Linksys cable modem is down again, I bet probably because no one believes me when I tell them it's overheating...
  • And I bet the name that'll show up when I sign is 'lounge.blogdrive.com' instead of Aiyre
    ... and I can't fix it.
And I don't have permissions to edit my own entry and publish it on the blog?! Shadow - if you would please fix the name and permissions thing, please. Thanks!
